Played golf today with the Shriners at Lakewood G.C. They elected me president for next year and Roger Ross VP. Got a closest to the pin on the 5th hole (thats worth $10).
Pam's at the Jewels of the Nile (of denial?) belly dancing class right now and Caroline showed me how to get on and write a blog. I dont think Pam's actually dancing but she's having a lot of fun with her friends.
Larry and Caroline made dinner for grandpa and I and an old friend of Larry's, Mark a former missionary. He and his wife said they remember me but alas I do not remember them. (so whats new). We had homade tacos. Very tasty. Still dont know if they're coming for Thanksgiving dinner or not at our place in the desert for sure. In fact I have no confirmations from anybody yet.
Planted flowers in the back by the pool last weekend and I think they are going to look terrific, especially in a week or two.
Been playing a lot of poker at night and winning a lot of single table tourneys. Three first places and a couple seconds and thirds so far this week.
Sure enjoy staying at Caroline and Larry's. They are so nice. I hope we dont bug them too much.

Brian, Lily, and I are coming to Thanksgiving! I am SO glad you are posting on your blog. This will be SO much fun! You should post your pictures from China on here!
Ricky, I'm so proud of you and just know that you guys don't bug me and Larry, your family and we love you. I would expect nothing less in return! Yea, lets see some China Photos!
Well guys, the next lesson will be how to download pictures, then how to download to the blog site and then how to make a slideshow like Larry made with his pictures of Alaska.
Cant wit for you to see my unusual photos from my trip. I know it sounds weird but I took pictures inside the mens room at the Great Wall and also of menu's with intrigueing dishes such as "Roast leg of dog in savory sauce". I havent seen my pictures since I took them so I may be in for some surprises too.
I would love to see your flowers. Im a little bummed that as soon as you moved to the desert we moved too and dont go through there anymore on our way to Cali. We will probably still be painting for Thanksgiving in ST George. It seems like we will be painting for the rest of our lives!
